Karate Yosanryu offers martial arts training as well as fitness classes and self-defence courses including Krav Maga-based self-defence courses. The Karate Yosanryu accredited club also offers a selection of martial arts types and styles, including Shorin-Ryu style karate, light contact kickboxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

This club offers training for anyone as young as 3 years old and even offers parent-child courses to help your child develop skills, strength, and refined motor functions from a young age while strengthening the parent-child bond. Karate Yosanryu focuses on developing a healthy mind along with a healthy body and emphasizes the importance of community and self-discipline.

Creating A Brighter Future For Women In Martial Arts

The WKU Women’s Initiative is a first of its kind initiative designed to create inclusiveness and gender diversity in combat sport. We are focused on empowering, supporting, and providing equal opportunities to women in martial arts as well as bringing in new women into the sport. The Canada-wide initiative offers seminars, keynote speaking events, charity alignment, workshops, and self-defence classes and other fundamental martial arts for women of all ages.
