Becoming a member of WKUWORLD Canada gives martial artists many benifits! From international belt recognition to access to the WKU World Championships each year!
WKUWORLD Canada works in congunction with WKUWORLD who both operate under the GCO (Global Combat Organization). When you become a member, you are provided a MAP number (ID number) and your infroamtion is added or updated to/on the GCO and can be viewed through the GCO members portal.
WKUWORLD Canada is working on implementing school benifits under the WKU membership and details will be made availble early 2025.

WKUWORLD Memberships Benefits
WKUWOLRD and WKUWORLD Canada have put together an exlusive memebership package that provides its members with a wide verifaty of benifits. Although we are not yet satisfied with the benifits offered (mostly within the memebrship options for Schools), we are confident that the memebrship will benefit our competitors and thier families!
The WKUWORLD membership sagment:
The core of the memebrship is provided by WKUWORLD. These sagments are available to all countries and competitors. Benifits include:
- Entry or updates to your profile within the GCO databases
- WKU/GCO Compititon passport (New memebers)
- WKU Badge and Stamps
- International belt recognition
- WKU cirtificate templates to be printed which include belt rank and style.
- Tax deductions on select international events inluding tournaments and seminars (Europe)

There are also substantial benifits offered by WKUWORLD Canada that have included additional services into the memberhsip package including:
- Discounts on select WKU events in Canada (Including seminars and tournaments)
- Flight deals (National)
- Discount options for Podiums which is the official distributor for Manus, Hayahsi and TOPTEN in Canada (Schools)
WKUWORLD Canada is also working on securing discounts with major hotel brands that may be introduced into the memebrships as well as other projects!
The cost of the membership is $110CAD and is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Where is WKU Membership required?
Although WKU as a whole maintains a open non membership requirment for its events, there are select events where access to the event will require a membership. Most notably the WKU World Championships, all competitors will need to be up to date on thier memebrships in order to be permitted to compete.
There may be other instances where memebrships are required however at this time nothing is required to partake within events in Canada.
