World Championships
The 2024 WKU World Championships will be hosted in Rhodes, Greece.
This is the follow up event to the 2023 WKU World Championships that were hosted in Calgary last year. After such a strong presence hosting preveoulsy, lets bring our A game to Rhodes and once again show the world what Canadians are made of!
Below are prices for accomodations of the fully includsice resort packages and services offered by the 2024 WKU World Championships orginizers in conjuction with local service providers and a basic schedule for the event. Please note: the price list includes a early bird special (June 30th) which allowes competitors and families to book at a reduced costs.

Check List
There are many step competitors planning on traveling to the world championships must undergo. We have outlined all the requirments by WKU and some recommendations that we feel are also important!
WKU Requirments:
- International Competitors/Yearly WKU Membership Fee - Coming Soon!
- Fighting Uniform(s) for all respective divisions - Coming Soon!
- Booked Hotel Through WKU Canada - Coming Soon!
- Doctors note - All competitors are required to have one. A doctors note is valid for one year as of the date of the examination. This note can be used for both Nationals and Worlds - Doctor will be available at the event for registrational purposes.
- Blood work for Ring Sports - Oultined in Ring Sport Rule Sets
- Pre registration of all desired events (Confirmation and Payment) - Coming After Nationals
Recommendations:
- Sort out any potential Passport issues and requirments ASAP
- Book transportation requirments ASAP
- Purchase travel insurence in the event that you are unable to attend the event or issues arrise.
Team Expectations
All national team members and officials under the WKU Canada umbrella are acting as representatives of Canada and the WKU Canada national team. As such, here are outlined the major expectations put forward on team Canada representatives:
- At all times adhere to the WKU world Code of Conduct
- At all times adhere to the WKU Canada Code of Conduct
- Ensure that all representatives act professionally and respectfully to all individuals while on the trip.
- Ensure all division rules are read and understood for which competitors compete in
