Our Mission

WKU is committed to increasing access, awareness, and opportunities for a diverse range of students to participate in martial arts while also bettering the experience for all who are a part of the organization. We offer programming, events, and classes to anyone interested in growing their skills and ensure those with special needs, mental health challenges, or those from marginalized communities are also given the opportunity to participate in this sport. WKU is also responsible for organizing and hosting the annual Canadian National Championships, a qualifier for the WKU World Championships. We hope to continue hosting events so that people across Canada can come together for martial arts events and foster a healthy and cohesive martial arts community.
